Diaper sticks to his bottom?

Our little one (baby #2) is two weeks old. We used Pampers Swaddlers with baby #1 and had no problems. Baby #2 on the other hand, they stick to his bottom when he poops. I put some cornstarch baby powder in there and it seems to be helping but I dont want to over use it. We tried a few other brands of diaper and they all do the same thing. Is there anything I can do that you know of to keep it from sticking?

  • try the diaper rash stuff, or a little bit of vasaline. Or just continue using the baby powder, they may quit sticking as he gets a little older.

  • Our little one's poop only sticks his diaper to his but when we can't change the diaper right away but he is BF and his poop is thin. We use baby powder with almost every diaper change and Burts Bee's diaper ointment after baths.
