  • Feed him. If he wants more, give it to him!! I'd be cranky too if I was hungry and not getting enough to eat.

  • We are in the same boat! My daughter will be 3 weeks old on Monday also! She's been eating non-stop too. We ended up having to supplement with formula because I don't produce enough to fill her up and satisfy her.
It got to the point where I could do nothing else because she was constantly on the boob.
I have a 2 year old as well so sitting around, trying to feed his sister for 90% of the day/night was not an option.
Plus she wasn't gaining weight very well.
Things got much better when we started to give her a little formula as well. She stays fuller longer so I actually get bits of sleep and can actually do things with my son.

  • Welcome to the three week growth spurt. They're supposed to be this way right now.

  • This is about the time of their first growth spurt, feed him till he's not hungry any more. You'll probably end up going through it again at 6 or 8 weeks as well.
