  • IDK, I was always curious why job applications ask if you were on welfare. Who knows?

They get a tax break, most places will hire a person on PA before anyone else.

  • Ideally, if they're healthy enough, they get in a position where they can pay taxes again, and contribute to the fund that helped them.

  • I think that once they're on their feet they should definitely have to pay it back.

    this doesnt even make sense!?!?!?

when they do get back on their feet they start paying taxes again which in turn would mean that they are paying back what they used!! and by doing so they are helping others that have hit a hard patch and need the help!! some of you ladies act like everyone enjoys getting a hand out!! where you get this concept is beyond me!!

  • They already paid it in once. Why should they pay it in twice?
