Are you giving your baby a vitamin D supplement? Someone told me too just wondering.

  • Nope. Just make sure they get a little sun each day and they don't need it.

  • No. My doctor says that's only necessary in areas that don't get a lot of sunlight. We live in Texas, so get plenty of vitamin D from the sun.

  • no I never have and I have 3 children I have breastfeed. Here is a great link about Vit D and the breastfeed infant. It will tell you if your baby is at risk of low levels. Honestly the magority do not need it

  • Yes, my pediatrician recommended it on our first visit. She said it is to prevent rickets.
