How do you know?

How do you know if your child has growing pains if they are at a toddler age? My son is 21 months and I know me and my mom had them growing up but we both remember having them around 10 years old - So how do I know if my son has them? I see some Mom's on here around toddler age saying their kids have growing pains at night? My son has had a couple nightime fits of rage where you can't calm him or sooth him, he's fully awake and rolling all over screaming "mommy help" he's very sensitive to pain ! teething has been a nightmare for him..

  • My dd was around age 2.5-3 yrs old when she started having them. She would cry that her legs hurt. I ended up taking her to an orthopedic and they said there is no such thing as growing pains, but sometimes the ligaments and tendons can get sore from growing! Isn;t that growing pains!! lol
