Help... Again!!

ok, i asked a similiar question a few days ago but im still wondering... almost 3 days ago i had my membranes stripped, i was 3.5cm dialated. i had some blood for awhile then that night it got pinkish brownish mucus and then the next day gobs of bloody mucus. DH and i had sex twice and i countinue to be having handfuls of bloody mucus. I haven't had sex today and im still getting tons. what is this?? Is this normal?? What does it mean?? There is ALOT. i have to wear a pad.

  • it could be your mucus plug, but i'd deffinately call your dr

  • It's your mucous plug. The blood is from your cervix which is irritated from the stripping. I don't recommend that you let them do that anymore. It causes unnecessary worry, irritates the cervix, introduces potential for infection, and doesn't work unless a woman is teetering on the edge of going into labor naturally on her own.

  • i would say also call your dr. it is most likly a combo of seamen and your mucus plug your cervix is probly so tender its bleeding mine did it was nothing ,but you should check with your dr "just in case"
