What happens if an infant is vaccinated twice in error?

  • mom and dad or guardian should keep track of shots given and always make sure that they ask before any shot is given whether an infant/child has had and needs it.Don't ever rely on any medical proffession to keep 100% track of any medical recaords.In any doctors office they are dealing with dozens of patients everyday. They dont really have time to read through every chart in detail. They should, it would cut down on the number of mistakes made, but they don't they just skim over them. mistakes with meds /vaccs are the most common mistakes made in the medical profession. I would hope that the doctor woould do everything to make sure that the infant is okay and do whatever needs to be done to rectify the situation.
