Should children that are ADHD consume Splenda?

I am trying to find info on the Feingold diet about Splenda and no luck on the internet.

  • Definitely no Splenda! Agave is probably the safest sweetener.

  • I don't think ANYONE should be using any artificial sweetners. My son is ADHD/ADD and sugar has NO affect on him.

  • Yeah... I was kinda pissed when adults tried to give me that stuff when I was 7 or 8... really allergic to white sugar and couldn't have sweets, but knew in the '80's that lab rats got cancer from it!
