What can i do to help my 8 week old poop regular?

He hasn't been pooping like he should aybe every other day and it seems like he is constipated.

  • i nursed him for about a month but had to switch to formula. i give him Enfamil GentleEase

  • Whether your breastfeeding or formula feeding they can poop ten times a day or go for ten days without pooping. IF he's straining, it's not a sign of constipation. Babies don't have full control over their external sphincter yet and sometimes they have to work at it. Constipation is if he has little hard pellet like poops.

  • We used 1/2 t of dark Karo syrup in 2 oz of water. Just once in the morning, unless really constipated then in the afternoon as well. Worked like a charm!
