  • its always a good thing for families to eat together so if it takes an elaborate dinner to bring the familt together then do it. My family does it several times throught the year

  • Lucky you! We live in Florida and it's really too hot to cook a big turkey dinner but as soon as it cools down to 70 degrees outside I just might.

  • we eat those foods all the time, perhaps not all in the same meal but in portions. Love fall foods all year around.

  • Heck yeah! I love cooking it, especially when its cold out! And my kids love eating it, so I can not wait until the weather gets colder so I can make us some turkey and stuffing!

  • Not usually. My second favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, and I love it because we eat all the foods we don't typically eat during the year and I just love the smell of turkey and cornbread dressing on Thanksgiving morning, knowing its all cooking and getting ready for a huge Thanksgiving feast. If I do it throughout the year, it just doesn't make it seem like a holiday. We do cook turkey tenderloins and baked sweet potatoes sometimes but that's not often either. I think there's been 2 times I have made my homemade cornbread dressing without it being a holiday.
