We are taking our 2 1/2 year old to Disney World in October. I was wondering what we should take in her activity bag for the flight? That would also work for her when we have downtime on our vacation?

  • what about coloring books? also, if you fly jetblue, they have a tv in the back of the headrest in front of you so she can watch cartoons.

  • we bring our dvd player for the plane and downtime, check out crayola...they have some awesome stuff that are great for the plane, just keep them away from your child til the flight, so it's a NEW toy and they'll spend some time wanting to play with it. We got the molding clay, and our kids loved playing with it the whole time on the plane!!

  • If you can get a personal video player, fisher price I think makes one for little kids. Also crayons, coloring/activity books. My dauther loves those learning books, yours might enjoy learning things as well. Also an echa scetch or those things iwth the magnetic pens. Mybe a little bit of playdaugh. A few new books. lots of pacience.

  • Play Doh. You can buy the little containers that fit nicely in a bag.

  • You can't take Play Doh on planes any longer. Go to the TSA website, even the day before you leave, to see the newest restrictions. Don't take anything that will be thrown, etc.
