  • does he have any favorite foods? If so, give them to him, but put a side of something else on the plate. You could try a reward system type deal...... eat this and you can have that, or maybe make a chart and if he eats well all week, he gets something special.

  • Is he teething? My DD picks to but drinks when her teeth are bothering her. You can try a fruit smoothies, if his teeth are bothering him then that will make them feel better on his gums. GL

  • Honestly, he shouldn't be on milk if he's not eating a balanced diet. He's not getting the nutrition he needs.

Limit his milk intake to 20-24oz per day. If you're letting him drink all the milk he wants, of course he's not hungry.

Listen to his fussing for a couple of days, but be the mom. He can have so much milk per day, but the rest is water. He sits at meals with his plate in front of him and eats a little BEFORE he gets his milk to drink. You obviously can't force food down his throat, but you can manipulate things so he WILL start eating.

  • Keep giving him the food. If your doctor is really worried they'll give him vitamins to keep up with the vitamins and minerals. Is he still on the bottle at night?? If your baby gets a full bottle at night then he'll wait for that and not eat. Thats what my daughter does. We're working on getting off the bottle. OH if he's 12 Months then yeah thats what it is!!! That bottle. Thats ok then cause he's still getting milk. You could go out and get your own vitamins to give him at home if you're worried about vitamins and minerals.

  • If he's drinking too much milk, he won't be hungry for food. Try limiting his milk intake and make sure you're offering him only healthy foods so that the little bit he eventually does eat will be nutritionally sound.

  • I wouldn't be concerned at this point, especially since the doctor is not concerned.
