When you talk to yourself

In your head. Is it your own voice you hear or someone else's? I hear mine if it's a random thought but usually if it's a conversation I had with someone else I hear them. For advice, my mom lol

  • Mine is a very loud and crude Scotsman, I think he's a soccer hooligan.

    Haha, just kidding!

  • I hear myself as I believe I sound when I talk but not how I actually sound. If that makes sense...

Like, you know how you sound differently when you hear your voice on an answering machine? I never imagine that voice.

  • It's my own voice. When I am stern with myself it's still me, only a deeper version of my voice.
