how long should it take to go back to normal completly?

  • My doctor says every woman is different, and it can take any where from 6-12 months. But the inside of your body takes at least 3yrs to return to its normal self. Having babies really takes its toll on our bodies thats for sure. lol

  • I felt like my uterus went down in size immediately after birth. my tummy was almost flat but really boggy- when you pressed on it, it felt like a water bed. In about two months I felt that my uterus was back to normal but as others have mentioned I think it takes longer for it to bounce back completely internally.
