How soon after giving birth did you have your first period?

  • Oldest son- 4 months (breastfed until 11 months)
    Daughter- I never got a post partum period, but I did ovulate at 8 months post partum. I am 100% sure of that because I got pregnant lol. (breastfed until 9.5 months)
    Youngest son- 10 months (breastfed until 13 months)

  • well, RIGHT after birth, I bleed like a pig for 7 weeks, it was like something out of a horror movie- But an actual period after that 7 weeks, another 3 months.

  • 6 months. I introduced solids and that was enough :(

    Breastfeeding prolongs your period-free time :)

  • ive read alot of pregnancy stuff from my hospital and they said right after birth u usually bleed and it will be for a few weeks and ive read after u breastfeed u tend to bleed more? idk i guess ill find out in november...but i would bring pads to the hospital lol but i think they cover the bed anyway

  • After both of my babies (c-sections) I started my period 6 weeks after delivery and had one every month even though I was breastfeeding full time.

  • 6 weeks, 6 weeks and 4 months with nothing so far. The only differences are: tandem nursing, completely natural UC and no paci for my third baby.... major differences that is
