Whats the difference in 1st and 2nd foods?

Whats the difference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage food? (gerber baby food jars)

  • 1sts are thin and single food's. Seconds are still pretty runny, larger jars and you start some combo's (always check the lable, not just name of the food you are giving... you baby should have already tried all but one of the new things). And then 3rd foods are MUCH thicker and some of chunks and they are more like baby dinners... like pasta and veges and stuff.

  • 1st is pureed foods, 2nd has a tad more texture to it, and 3rd has actual chunks
