  • Hay Fever wouldn't cause a 102 fever UNLESS it's accompanied by a sinus infection

  • No that's not the Flu. The Flu is INFLUENZA which is an upper respitory virus. What you are thinking of is a Gastrointestinal virus

  • oh... so i know you arent doctors :) but i had pneumonia and valley fever a few years ago and they told the pneumonia always stays with you and valley fever makes you more suseptable to sicknesses.. so its not somehting like bronchitis or anything i should worry about?

  • Sinus infection, bronchitis or even pneumonia. Fever is almost always an indication of some sort of infection somewhere. Call your doc, you need a round of an antibiotic, especially if this has been lasting more than a couple days.

  • My cousin had flu like symptoms a week or so before he passed away from a staph infection. If they would have tested him and gave him antibiotics instead of sending him home, he may have lived.

I'm a little paranoid when it comes to these things so my advice would be to get it checked out by a doctor.
