My daughter needs to get in shape

My 11 year old daughter needs to get back in shape shes not huge but she needs to loose some before the P.E challenge this this year.They have to go through all kinds of hard ropes and have to do sit-up and push-ups she needs to loose weight and gain strength.Does anyone know of a good diet plan AND exercises to help loose weight FAST not like two days but a soon as possible.

  • IF SHE'S INTERESTED, encourage after school sports, or something at the local YMCA, or gym. If nothing else, have her go for a jog with you every morning. Jog the block, a mile, whatever she feels she's capable of. Cut carbs down to a minimum, (not a lot of bread, rice, cerael, potatoes, etc.) and limit her sugar intake. She still needs calories, so encourage veggies and fruits, meats, etc. GL!

    Don't push her too hard, let her lead the program, because if she doesn't want to do it, she won't lose any weight, she'll only get stressed out and maybe gain wait.

  • The good thing about an 11 y/o is she is still growing so 30 minute excerise daily will help her loose weight fast. Pack healthy lunches and give healthy snacks and have her excerise. A handful of chips with lunch is still healthy and she does not feel like an outcast with the other children. Celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins are a fun healthy snack which is also filling. You could go for walks bike rides or running together. Excerise after school gives the mind a break and assists with getting homework done. Excerising together 30 minutes a day gives you excerise and time with your daughter. Good luck!
