Do you always have to give something for a baby's teething fever?

I mean medicine??

  • you dont ever HAVE to....

    i usually will give my dd teething tablets so help her over come the pain and get some sleep.

  • Tylenol etc. is more for the pain then the fever, a low grade fever, you dont have to give anything for but if they feel bad, it will help with the pain. Check with your Dr.

  • My bestfriend's son is teething and he's young enought that the doc doesn't want her giving him meds. Instead she has teething rings for him that can be frozen. It helps with pain and brings down the fever. Just make sure you don't let the ring get really hard. Leave it sorta mushy, like a freezy texture.
