At what age did your child start to sleep with a pillow?

  • My boy sleeps with a pillow now at 10 mo. but he is pretty advanced....

  • 21-22 mos. Not sure exactly when in there, but he sleeps with one all the time now, at 23.5 mos.

  • My oldest was 2. The other 3 were about 1. They all started with the same squished down full sized pillow. My middle daughter preferred a travel pillow from the time she was 2, though. She's almost 7 and just now requested a full size one.

  • can't remember for my older 2 but my youngest was around 1....her sisters made her bed up with pillow and all her blankies and she insisted that it stay where they'd put it.

  • maddox still doesn't have a pillow (now about 20m)...but he does sleep with two stuffed animals which often end up under his head *like* a pillow. so i would say when we move him to a toddler bed, he'll get a pillow then. :)
