Anyone else ever here of this?

I dont believe this but my hubbys aunt told me if you raise your arms ova your head or go to reach for some thing that is above your head that the cord would wrap around the babys neck! I dont believe it!

  • Err.... if that were the case, my baby must've been strangled a bazillion times....
    I think this is some sort of weird myth - or something she just got stuck in her head, I've never heard of this..

  • yep...its a wives tale.

    I've heard it for sweeping too...sweep the floor and the cord goes around the neck.

  • Yeah I've heard of that, I guess it's an old wives tale. There are lots of them, we could get out of all kinds of house work if we believed in all of them! lol
