  • And how, exactly, would we go about restricting them...?

  • I think the people should have enough self control to NOT use the internet if they know it will cause them to become easily agitated or irrational. Or at least enough common sense to turn off the computer if they find themselves becoming irrational.

However I DO think it should be restricted in places such as prisons and mental wards.

  • I believe there is already too much government control. Why would i feel that there should be more?

  • We have a relative who's schizophrenic. For years, his immediate family has been trying to keep him as far away from the net as possible, but he finally managed to get a computer and net access this past year. His court ordered for mandatory medication also ran out. It's not pretty. If there were a way to get him back on mandatory meds and take the computer away it wouldn't be as bad, but they won't do that (the meds) unless he's violent again. He does have some good days, but not many. In the meantime, that computer is not helping things at all.

  • So.. since they can't peruse the internet because it causes them distress and agitation... does that mean they shouldn't interact with the the public in general...?
Because, they'd be agitated in a grocery store... where they could possibly hurt people.
