  • thats just practice for the rela thing. now those hurt like hell!!! once you go into labor the only thing that will help might be some iv meds and maybe the epidural. I SAY MAYBE CUZ IT DOENST WORK FOR EVERYBODY. just breath thru them. trust me labor is far worse. but i say you will be going into labor soon. how far apart are they?

  • just take a deep breath and breath, and focus on whats going to come out of these labor pains. call your doc and see what he says, he might decide to induce if you tell him how much pain your in. good luck

  • have you tried a warm bath? try going for a walk, that's what helped mine. i didn't go into L&D until my water broke. if you need to, try drinking a glass of wine or beer. that might relax you enough to calm some of the ctx down.

to buddhasbaby1- you're not truly late until 42 wks. and there's no reason to induce even then. being "late" is not a reason to induce.

  • You're definitely on the cusp. This is the beginning of the end.

The more you relax, the less painful the contractions will be. So do the warm bath, do the wine, try to relax and breathe. The more tense you are, the more painful the contractions will be.
