  • I went on a limited schedule for my kids - I got the list from the doc and sat down with him and discussed what was absolutely necessary to ensure my son's health and what was just recommended.

  • heb b and vitamin k. Mothers sign a consent for them, they don't give babies shots w/o consent from a parent.

  • The vitamin K shot is NOT a vaccination! It is a shot to help your blood clot. The Hep B is a vaccination... my kids got both

  • Yep Hep B.

  • Why? Do you know something we don't?

Answer by asiamommi at 11:58 PM on Sep. 1, 2009

  • ASK!! You don't necessarily have to get Hep B at birth. I just did it with the first set of vaccinations, since he was already getting others. We weren't going to do the vitamin K, but they convinced us. It's always worth being informed.
