  • Per my son's pediatrician, no more than 8 ounces a day. They can get dairy from cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc. Also, they should have no more than 4 ounces of juice and the rest should be water.

  • My son on a good day will drink maybe 2 ounces of milk and that is with his cereal if he has that for breakfast.. .but he will eat cheese, yogurt & other dairy products all day long so I don't force him to drink milk as he doesn't really like it.

  • They should have 3-4 servings of dairy per day. A serving equals 4 oz. milk, 1/2 oz. cheese, 4 oz. yogurt or cottage cheese.
