Where is a good place to get my baby girl's homecoming outfit?

She's due in January so it will be cold where i live.

  • Kohls or JCPenney if they are having a sale. I brought both my girls home in really cutesie jammies :D It was warm and convenient and cute!

  • department stores will be setting up their fall/winter line of clothes if they haven't already. Target...Wal name it.

How cold will it be? Like, snowing cold? Either way, i'd use a warm sleeper (the fleece kind) with a onesie underneath it, and put a blanket over baby when going out to the car.

You're obviously not gonna be driving with the windows down, so you don't want baby to get TOO warm in the car.

    Congrats on your LO!

  • My daughter was 6lb 9oz and even the newborn stuff was WAY too huge, so if you have any suspicions that you might have an extra little baby, buy a preemie outfit too. My daughter wasn't preemie, but she fit in the clothes just fine.

  • The Children's Place is my favorite. Or Old Navy. My son came home in an Old Navy outfit. It depends on if you want comfortable/traditional or dressy/unique.
