car seat question-britax or sunchine kids?

my dd is 14 months, at least 31" tall, 11" torso, and about 20 lbs. we have a true fit but i am not as thrilled about it as i thought i would be. anyway, i am planning on giving the true fit to my parents and getting a replacement. i would like either the SKR XT or the britax boulevard (possibly click & safe) or the advocate cs. if anyone has any suggestions/opinions regarding these, or has any personal experience with them, it would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks ladies, i am planning on ordering something today.

  • Actually, Sunshine Kids seats manufactured after this month will RF to 45 pounds!

We're getting the XT for our LO soon. Reinforced steel alloy frame? YES PLEASE! lol. They are also the only company to make their crash test info available. I've never owned a Britax, but I know they're good seats too...I'm just a little biased because I love SK so much!

  • I have a britax. My only complaint is the thing weighs a ton.

  • Well, it depends on which way your baby is facing. The Sunshine kids now rear face up to 40lbs on seats made after september 2008, so if extended rear facing is important to you, then thats what I would go with. However, I L-O-V-E Britax. The seats are so awesome and the safety features are just unbeatable. But Sunshine Kids are really good seats too!
