6 1/2 month old

my 6 1/2 month old dd has an 8 oz bottle in the morning...sometimes she has 1 to 2 oz left so i mix that with some apple rice baby cereal ...then she has a 6 oz bottle at noon with a stage one fruit ....then at 4 she has another 6 ozs. and a stage 2 vegetable with a little bit of fruit after that....and then another 6 oz bottle before bed... she never throws anything up but is this alot?

  • Nope - mine ate more than that at 6 mo. She LOVED solids but probably had close to the same amount of breastmilk/formula. As a general rule, babies don't overeat. You just need to resist the urge to give just "one more bite" after baby has said she's full (turns away from the food, spits the bottle out, etc.) don't want to override the natural "stop eating" reflex.
