If you really think what they did to that man was on par with what is done to a detainee or a suspect, you are kidding yourself.
Mancow Muller a REPUBLICAN did not believe waterboarding was torture until being waterboarded himself. Then he admitted that it was unequivocally torture.
Whether YOU or I agree that it is or isnt is irrelevant because the Geneva convention says it is, and the US signed onto the Geneva convention protocol 1 in 1977. So we are breaking our own laws.
