  • kennel or crate train when the puppy cant be taken out in 3 to 4 hour incremements, like over night and while you are at work or going somewhere so the puppy doesnt have free range of the entire house or he will make anywhere his bathroom. Also, frequent trips outside, like every couple hours or so during the day and reward for pottying outside, small spanking with a firm NO for potty inside and if he has an accident inside, after the scolding take him right out the door. It takes ALOT of patience and constant watching, but well worth the effort.

  • teach them the basics asap. sit stay come and stop. i heard not to use the word no. they say they don't understand the word. humm do they understand any of them? anyway i don't use the word i use stop instead. i also make a loud enough noise when they are doing something i don't want them to do. i.e. chew on the wrong item or pottying on the floor. good luck,

  • yep find a class, that 109 dollars will give you someone who looks at you and the puppy and will help with all of your specific issues. Also the pup gets socialization during class. you will get to meet other people in the area with young pups and may make some new friends!
