It is normal that he arches his back (backwards) when trying to carry him?

My son wants to keep playing at my sister's home. When it is time to leave he refuses to let me carry him he arches his back and trows himself backwards. Is it normal?

  • Yes. Annoying but normal. My son does the same thing. That, along with "spaghetti legs" (I want him to stand but suddenly his legs don't work..) are among his more annoying tricks..

  • Yes. It's their way of making you put them down. It must be instinct to them 'cause I worked at a day care and they all did it!
