  • the rent was paid, the other bills, electric, gas, insurance and phone will have to wait until next payday.
We always make sure rent is paid first. They don't cut your utilities off if you are just a week or two late.
can you borrow money from anywhere or sell anything quickly?

  • $350, wow! that's quite the amount to be short. How much is your actual rent? if you don't mind my asking. I've got a 2 bedroom apt. and I pay $510 a month unheated.

  • Right now we are ok thank God, but I have been in situations similar to yours. Are there any non-profit organizations in your area that may be able to help you? google some places in your area to see if you can call or set up an appointment for assistance. I hope things get better for you.

  • yea rent is usually always paid first... and its 1125 + 45 water a 3 bd 2ba apt. about 67 for power.
we're thinking his truck payment is just gonna have to be paid later than usual. an pay the $50 late fee with that.
tough times, just not making enough money right now.
oh and my internet is free (well it comes with my apt, as does my cable)
nothing of real value to pawn. dont really have anything to sell.
expensive cities to live in. nothing cheaper unless i lived in crackville.

  • We've been pretty close to the wire quite a few times over the past year and a half, since I lost my job and then got a new one...and then DH lost his.

He's got a job interview tomorrow and we're keeping our fingers crossed.

  • My heart goes out to each one of you....I will put you all and your families on my prayer list. It sucks that so many people are in this same spot. My best of luck and wishes to all of you.
