  • I agree, but with universal health care, more people will die because they're receiving worse care and have such long waiting periods to get the treatment they need. Statistics from countries practicing this system prove this. Everyone in this country can already receive medical care, and without insurance. No one can be denied now...that's what people seem to forget. Letting the government control everything is not a good idea, EVER! You must have Facebook...I saw that statement too. People think that if you say "Yes", that you must be for Obama's crap proposal. That's not the case.

  • AH Get off Facebook! LOL! I agree, but if this is an attempt at a low blow to those who oppose the HR3200, its not working. Us who oppose it want healthcare reform, just not this kind.. I feel like a broken record. :(

  • ROFL... Bexi~Facebook......  ROFL!  I agree with this statement, "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it canbribe the public with the public's money."

Wake up!!!!  Stop looking blindly like this is the ONLY solution...  ObamaCare is about Trial  They also are the ones who have contributed the MOST to Obama's and Democrats campaigns...

  • Agree.

    BUT....

I don't agree that the government is the organization to trust with that lofty goal. They have a horrible habit of messing things up and spending obscene amounts of money while they're at it.

  • People who have affordable insurance are unconcerned with others...as long as they can maintain themselves. Sure~ no one is denied...if they go to a hospital, or can pay up front. That is the #1 reason for banckruptcy in America ~ medical bills. For all those who clam to be Christian...it really should be a God given right. Jesus never turned someone away because they couldn't pay. The funny thing is...these very same Christians are learning they scare tactics/false information at their place of worship. Oh the irony.

  • Wise words from a wise man!

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

  • Even the poor can get health care. Medicaid mean anything to you? How about the fact that it is a hospitals obligation to see you in the ER regardless of how much money you have? How about the fact the medical bills don't count on your credit? What about the non-profit hospital that will work with you? What about the fact that if you tell a hospital you can only pay X a month they have to accept that? Yeah some stuff is tough but it can be found. You just have to look harder. Does our health care need reform- yes. Is universal the way to go- absolutely not!
