when do you switch from car seat to booster seat?

Im not really sure what weight and height a child must be before they make the switch. Thanks

  • 4 years and 40 pounds is the recommendation everywhere, and the state law most places.

  • the rear facing seat we have says 40 lbs
    not sure if that is what you were wanting but it is what I can give you LOL

  • oh by age tho I put my son is a diff car seat at 1 year and a little seat at 3
