House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to allow Rep. Chuck Rangel to keep his chairmanship of the powerful Ways and Means Committee despite continuing ethics problems.
When Pelosi became speaker of the house, she bragged about ending a “culture of corruption” in Washington?
Do you think she has?

Will Ethics Problems Hurt Pelosi and the House Democrats in 2010?
We could hope, but since the Dems have no ethics, pesky little violations like not paying taxes, drug busts, murder and imbezzlement are usually brushed off.

If there is still anything right with this world, yes, it will hurt her. Rangel should resign. His actions are questionable to say the least (criminal in my opinion, and according to laws). She vowed to 'Drain the swamp' of corruption and run the most open and transparent Senate in history. Mmmmm, I just don't see it ever happening.
