What do you think of the name Amadeus?

pronounced ah-ma-day-us
It's Mozart's middle name or something like that. I think it's kind of cute.

  • I agree with the above. It's great for a dog, not for a kid. The movie was great. The song is a hoot. Mozart himself was quite a character. There's a reason the name went out of style.

  • Rock me Amadeus ra ra rock me Amadeus. First thing that came into my head. I'm a child of the 80's. Great name if your last name is Mozart. I would not name my kid that...a goldfish maybe.

  • Yeah..."Ooh, Rock me Amadeus" was the first thing that came to my mind too...BUT, I think it is a strong, unique name and though not what I would choose for my son, I've heard WAY worse names.

  • Song got stuck on my head. Other kids will tease a child with this name in my opinion.
