What does this slang imply to you?

When members on here refer to the government as the 'gubmint' or the president as the 'prez-o-dent' ?

  • tnmomoflove, that was you who said "gubmint"...and it is a VERY arguable topic, don't try to sugar coat it because you said it.

It was prejudice & rude as hell. I'm sure you sound pretty red-necky, but no one here is makinng prejudice comments about how red-necks talk.

  • I haven't ever seen anyone refer to him in that way. But, if I did, I would think it was just as insulting as when people would refer to Bush as "dubbya".

  • "want his policies to fail absolutely do because I realize we are already broke and with his help even more so now.My children and grandchildren will be paying for the added debt he has burdened them with already. He did that within his first 100 days of office and he isnt done yet.I want my children to know the great country that I grew up in not some socialist nanny state where the gubmint dictates much of their lives for them.If that would have to mean a bit more stuggle for me at this time then so be it! Others paid with their blood"

it was in the "why do you want Obama to fail" post.
