  • You haven't said what kind of info you have about the person/people you are seeking. Do you have non-identifying info from the agency?

A first name, or date of birth?

It would be helpful to know the kind of info you are working with.
Please don't post any IDENTIFYING info in public... but if you could describe what you
have, many of us here could better help start your search.

Also, find an adoption search and support group in the area where the
adoption took place, as well as one close to where you live if you've moved
away from that area. I'd be glad to help you locate groups.

  • Talk to adopteeme, she has loads of info on searching. Also, there are people, called search angels, who volunteer their time to reunite people separated by adoption. Google to find one in your state.
