  • Seems that way.
If my man ever hit me he would be on the ground so fast its not even funny.
Then his butt would be out the door.
    I don't deal with abuse.

  • I'm with you sopeeashmommy!
I love my man, but if he hit me, he would be OUT of my house.
(Granted, we rough house, like wrestle/hit each other, and play "slug-bug" but never hurt eachother)

  • I don't know... I haven't really noticed much.
But same here, I told my DH once, if you ever hit me, you better make it good, because your world, as you know it, will be over.

  • I know that it never just starts with a blow, there is always emotional abusive first,
the abuser has to control and bring down a person first, then escalates his control which can turn to physical

God help these women break this cycle in their lives

  • he would never hit me, once we were wrestling and he sluged me on the sholder, and as a test i acted like it hurt really bad, oh man he was like in tears he felt so bad, me made me dinner and every 20 minutes he asked me if i was okay, then he took me out for icecream, which he never does, so i know he would never hurt me on purpous, and i love him, i hope no one on here is getting abused and just "takes it".

  • I haven't noticed on here, but, I have noticed an increased of teen boys hitting their girlfriend, I hear alot of women saying what they would do if a man hit them,1 person said her man would never hit her. I thought all those things too, I was a teen mom and teen bride, I even lived in my parents side apartment,my parents thought it was safer and more economical to stay on their property, until I finished my schooling, what they didn't know,my so called DH was beating me with sticks, and punching me.They didn't know, because I was ashamed to tell them, finally a schoolmate saw a bruise on my face, and I told her. Finally, I got help, the courts gave me a restraining order, which he torn up,but, after that,my parents and I was determined,he wouldn't no longer make me his punching bag. We got divorced, and I've been fighting against abused ever since,I'm still fighting after 35 years. No woman should be abused.
