  • I normally would say water but its been so long since I've had a baby I don't remember about when its ok to give water to a baby, maybe pedialyte? not sure maybe you can ask a pharmacist, they are really great with medical questions and its free to ask them

  • if he is on solids already a little juice wont hurt but formula is pretty hydrating so there really shouldnt be an issue sometimes it just smells strong

  • My sons urine always has had a strong ammonia like smell when he is teething, I am sure that is most likely the cause. I have heard from other people that they experienced this with their babies too.

  • Water is fine. You can also do 50% juice and 50% water

  • i asked the ped. about this because my 3 months olds urine is always really strong and he said i could give her long as hes not crying when he pees, i know its kinda hard to know when theyre peeing cuz of the diaper, but thats what i was every now and then i give her a lil bit of water, just a few swallows cuz i dont want her to get full on water or throw up from it...its not strong anymore, only sometimes.
