  • Prove to us that he is a Marxist. Or whatever. It seem he is a Marxist one day, A Communist the next, a Socialist the next. But--proof,please. If you have proof, fine, but if you don't you are being unfair and libelous.

  • I saw a great bumper sticker I gonna have to get...."socialism is un-american" lol

  • Anon 8:39.. all the things you mentioned are very similar to a degree. He and the fed have taken over the banking industry, they have taken over the automotive industry, they are trying to take over the health care industry, with the cap and trade they want to control our energy. In the post ahead I will give you definitions of all three words and you tell me what you think.

  • libelous.

you weren't a law student, eh? i believe the word you were thinking of is slanderous....which means to defame ones character. libelous means to be financially responsible for your mistakes. lol

nice try at the big words though. lol

p.s. marxism is what leads to socialism and then communism. there's a great book that will explain all of it to you in really simple language, it's called a dic-tion-ary.

  • Marxist? Oh goodness! Someone is Really trying to stir it up now! Leave him alone. Can people just not understand the fact that he IS the president whether you like it or not and stop the bickering and derrogatory name calling. You may not like him, but can you at least RESPECT that he is in fact OUR President and maybe just maybe if you stopped for a second, you'd realize he really is trying to help, not hinder. I know of the recent "controversy" and it's rediculous to consider it controversy at all. IMHO.

  • Marxism is a political-economic theory that presents a materialist conception of history, a non-capitalist vision of capitalism and other types of society, and a non-religious view of human liberation. Closely related to the ideology of communism America is a CAPITALIST NATION let's remember that but when the government now owns Automotive companies, Banks, Healthcare and even our Energy... Capitalism is not possible.

Answer by TinasTribe at 8:44 PM on Sep. 4, 2009

  • Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital and derives its wealth through exploitation, creates an unequal society, does not provide equal opportunities for everyone to maximize their potentialities and does not utilize technology and resources to their maximum potential nor in the interests of the public. Therefore socialists advocate the creation of a society that allows for the widespread application of modern technology to rationalize economic activity by eliminating the anarchy in production of capitalism[4], allowing for wealth and power to be distributed based on the amount of work expended in production, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how and to what extent this could be achieved.

    Again taking away capitalism...
