  • $130 for me & husband. From his job. our children are on medicaid because we can not afford right now to insure the whole family. It would be like $300 a check to do that & then we'd like have no groceries!

  • Can't afford what is offered at DH's job and I am unemployed. The insurance offered at DH's job charges per month, per person with a grand total for 6 people being.... wait for it..... $1800 a month. And that's just our share. The co-pay is 20%, deductible of $1000 per person or $6000 per year. Insurance doesn't pay for anything until the deductible is met (not even office visits). So we are uninsured as DH only make $2100 a month after taxes. yahoo! And because he is offered insurance at work we do not qualify for medicaid (forget the fact that we'd only have $300 a month to live on after insurance is paid).

  • Go to your welfare office. Unless your husband makes a ton of money you should be able to get state insurance.

  • I think it's like $75 a month for the entire family (2 adults and 4 kids). Our copay is $20 a visit, $30 for specialists and $100 for ER visits. We pay a little extra for dental and vision. That's through my husband's work and I'm very aware of how cheap it is and it's good coverage

  • $535 monthly for our share from his employer.
$25 copay/$500 deductible and prescription coverage (but it's not so great)
