nc booster seat laws

whats a link that has the laws for 4 year olds sitting in the front seat of a four door vehicle!? i wonder if it is legal?

  • There is no law about children in the front seat. They only have laws providing for car seats and boosters, but not for seat placement. Of course there are "recommendations" that children under the age of 12 remain in the back seat.

  • Yes there are laws about having young children in the front seat. Call a police dept in NC, they will tell you

  • Shouldnt matter what the LAW says, that is just plain stupid to put such a young child in the front seat when there is a perfectly SAFE backseat. And ideally a 4year old should be HARNESSED in the back seat.
