Stimulus recipients laid off

More of our money put to effective, practical use. Still think it's working?

"But last month, the company that administration officials had pictured as a stimulus success story began laying off 320 people, or 13 percent of its work force, having discovered how cutbacks at the state level can dampen the boost provided by the federal stimulus money."
Biden made a campaign, err public relations, stop at that factory to show how well the stimulus was working to fix all our problems.

  • I exhibit no surprise. The market has to adjust to the amount of spending that actually exists. There is a great big infected oozing sore that they keep pretending they have control over.

  • First Obama was not the only person signing this bill.. there were plenty of R. voting on it. So lets play fair. It could never work, EVER.. you can only stimulate with long term stability, not a part time job for summer.

  • Does this make you all cream your knickers? People are unemployed and you are cackling away like evil little witches. I hope it never happens to your husbands since most of you don't work.

  • Oops. I stand corrected. It actually says 2 Republicans here:

but they do have Spector the defector listed as a Dem and I think he was still a RINO at that time, so my count of 3 would be correct.
