Cafemom's Pregnancy Mentor Program?

Just curious if any of you are doing this. I signed up and haven't heard anything from my mama, maybe I should start over... :- /

If you've started, how's it going so far?

  • It's a way for experienced moms to help out new moms.   Here is info:

You'll be matched with an experienced mom who can offer one-on-one support, advice and guidance to help you get accustomed to your new mommy role. It's a great way to share stories and meet new friends.

  • What is a "mentee"?

  • The mentee is the person seeking advice. The mentor is the person offering it.

So like, as a mom of seven years, two kids, a birth doula, and advocate, I would help ("mentor") a new mom-to-be. she would be my "mentee."
