  • That is wonderful that your daughter is so curious and eager to learn. You are beginning my favorite age of development! You will find that your daughter is like a little "sponge". Each day, all day, she will be learning and "surprising" you with all she can do and learn. She will not miss a think going on around her. It is great that you want to help her develop further. First thing to remember, keep all activities fun and appropriate for her age. Kids her age learn by moving and doing, exploring and touching. If you go on Google and type in "Developmentally Appropriate Games and Activities for Toddlers", you should get many references that are appropriate. Stay away from flash cards and workbooks. One sight that gives many good ideas is www.dvaeyc.org Put in Developmentally Appropriate Practices for Infants and Toddlers Activities. Have fun and give your daughter a big squeeze.
