3-4 yr olds should be getting 11-13 hrs of sleep each day (including naps and night time), does your child get this much?

Just seems I am one of the few people I know of whose kid sleeps 'well'. He sleeps for 12 hrs at night and then takes a 3 hr nap during the day (he will be 3 in oct.), so 15 hrs total.

  • Busylovinghim...from what I understand their brains need it for development. Obviously they will survive without the 'recommended amount of sleep', but like it says, it's recommended.

There are days where my son acts like he doesnt want to nap...but when I think 'well maybe he is giving them up'...I regret it, because he is a holy terror. He NEEDS naps to function without fury!
