How many?

How many of the people spamming this section as they arrive home from church will be gossiping about the people they saw there by lunchtime tomorrow?

  • Oh my Bob, are you kidding me? Back when I was forced to go to church, those people didn't wait to get home to start gossiping. Child, it started out in the parking lot of the church, if not right outside the sanctuary as they came out the door. I know because I was usually sitting right there on the steps or leaning on a wall, reading whatever book I'd smuggled along (because all those christian children wouldn't have anything to do with me unless they were making fun of me or torturing me.)

My ex coerced me to several services when he became born again, too, and that was baptist people (as opposed to the methodists in the first example) -- really, it was just as bad, and some 20 years later. Most people who say they don't do this define gossip differently as it applies to other people.

They're always so happy to show everyone how they're so much more Christian than everyone else when they get home on Sunday. I'm just curious how many of them will still be as awesome tomorrow is they like to tell everyone they are today.
