When preparing for our new baby what medicines should we have on hand for the upcoming months?

  • gas drops, teething tablets, infants tylenol, rubbing alcohol, vaseline (for taking temps rectally and if its a boy for a circ site), rash ointment, and since its going into winter flu season i'd suggest a humidifier (if you wait til you need one they'll be sold out been there at 3 a.m. once)

  • I'd say definitely gas drops and vaseline. Those were two things I didn't have, gas drops b/c no one ever told me about them, and vaseline I just didn't think of til my son had a little bit of diaper rash and my mom told me if I spread some on his butt at diaper changes that it would help (he had very sensitive skin).
