  • The above, making sure you bought DIAPERS and WIPES, if you didn't get stuff at a shower. Make sure you have all the little things you like. If you are going to breastfeed a pump (a manuel pump can work wonders for those first few days)

  • ME stuff, mainly... and DH stuff. snacks that are fast/easy like yogurt cups and pudding. frozen meals, take out menus, cash, bottled juices and drinks, and disposable plates/cups/etc

and an extra months worth of anything u use normally like toilet paper, dog food, etc, so u dont have any emergency walmart runs.

and pre-paid all bills so there was nothing important to remember or require, other than caring 4 baby

  • A bouncy and a swing, I didn't even think about or register for them but they were (and still are) really helpful as well as the above

  • oh - and an obscene amt of batteries for the bouncer and swing.

and you can never ever EVER have enough blankets, period. they leak and ooze from a variety of places when u 1st come home. you lay a blanket on everything and anything your baby goes near and they become one time use for awhile. I wish I'd bought a few more laundry baskets and lots more dreft, too.
